Sunday Sunday

28 02 2010

This morning it was my turn to take Emma Belle for a walk — the weather was beautiful – a bit chilly at 45 degrees but the sun was shining so I didn’t mind a bit.

The Sunrise was beautiful over the buildings (date stamp?  that’s new)

The sunlight shining off various building and the shadows really attracted my attention

We were the only ones out this morning — the streets were ours.

A little later, Husband went to work and I went out in search of fake sushi and guacamole for dinner.  Central Market makes a pretty mean “cali roll” — while there I picked up a couple of other things I just couldn’t live without.

I haven’t had coconut water in a long time!

I must walk Emma Belle again before the big hockey game comes on.  I am not a big hockey fan but I am a big Olympic fan.

Good day!

Great morning so far and I see no reason it will not stay that way.

Got to church this morning just as the rain was starting to let up.  I took a pocket full of tic-tacs with me to prevent any sudden outburst of coughing.  They held the coughing off until the music stopped and the service started.  I felt the cough coming so I made a hasty exit for the door — got some water and prepared to watch the service from the lobby.  An usher asked where I was sitting and let me back in – how nice of him.  Oh!  It’s tremendously hard to NOT sing at my “rock n roll” church but I lip synced to God with all I had!

After church we met up with Andrea at La Madeleine for brunch.  We love that place and once again it did not disappoint.  We sat around and had a nice chat — I whispered the best I could.

After lunch, Scott went to work and I stopped in at Central Market for some sushi (it’s a CA roll – he is not ready for raw seafood) for dinner.  Walked out with some good chocolate, butterscotch drops, fresh guacamole, spicey trail mix and some fancy beer for me.  And the sushi of course.  We don’t go there much anymore so it’s  a real treat.

Oh I have found something great — initially I was using it to replace the milk in my coffee but I am going to start using it in my breakfast smoothies — it’s so good

It’s so tasy you can totally drink it by itself.  It’s made by Turtle Mountain

Hope everyone is having a great Sunday!
